Anyone see "The Quilt Show" episode 1302 with Mickey Depre. She makes pieced hexies and the quilts are fantastic! Lynnie25 I bet you would love her book! I like your quilt for Chasezzz!

As well as my 'black, white and red' moment (that has lasted for months), I am also having a 'hexie' moment (thanks to a good friend who loves making them) but of course I prefer to hand stitch or machine hexies together rather than the EPP method. These ones in each block were fun to do in this small quilt but doubt that I would do a large quilt with this design as joining all those seams together was totally frustrating.

Chasezzz, thank you thank you so much for the little quilt that arrived today. I love the colour (one of my favs) and the design and it so well done. Chasezzz had also picked up on the fact that I like bwr because she sent me some fabric pieces in just those colours LOL I am now going to do a Happy Dance all the way to my doctors appointment !!! So happy we were swap partners this month Karen (Apologies if I didn't get a pic of the quilt up the right way)

Glad you like it Lyn! It was fun to make. Inspiration was a pattern in The Quilting Bible, a book I received for my birthday last month. I thought maybe the hydrangea in the corner would brighten your winter days.

I received my cute little quilt yesterday from Bilben and am frustrated that my computer refuses to upload the picture. Grrr.... Anyway, it is on my front room table and I love it. A picture will get posted one way or another soon. Thanks, Cathy!!

All the quilts coming in are great as always. Hexies are one thing I've only done once and they are still waiting to be finished!! Time consuming for sure. Pretty little ones you made, Lyn!

LucyLou512, my mom fell last night before she was able to finish up her DQ. She was working on it with just the binding to do. I have sent a message to her partner and will finish it up for her.

She is ok, nothing broken, just lots of bruising and muscle pain, so she will be on her pain meds and taking it easy.

I'm on the home stretch... only the binding left to finish... just had so many start of school meetings and such and the kids just don't want to sleep! Hope to get it in the mail tomorrow, sorry to take my time...
