    wonderful project... it is delightful. I have not done a log cabin pattern, did you just cut log cabin blocks diagonally to get your border?

    jmoore i folded them in half wrong sides together and sewed around them then turned them right side out so i didnt have to bind the edges and then used gold metallic thread to sew around them
