More candy projects: Nine patches and snowballs with a Wizard of Oz twist for my 7 year old. The backing is showing underneath the top.

Fraew, is that just snowball blocks and nine patches? I may have to make one of those. I really envy your skill at mixing up charms, I always seem to have one color concentrated in one area, or too much of one color... I guess I just need to spend more time with my design wall.

Thank you CyndyK and Quiltingdragon. Yep just 9 patches and snowballs. I am the worst with "random"! My daughter selected the pieces and I arranged them in a "tolerable" fashion. I lay everything out and take a picture. For some reason, I can spot color issues better in a picture. I mix it up as needed and take another picture and so on until I can live with my "almost random".

I will try that method, thanks for the idea!

Fraew. I love the nine patch snowball quilt. Wish I would have seen that last week maybe I would have made that one for the quilt I am making for a fundraiser auction. Did you post ghat on the birthday swap board. You should. Good inspiration
