Lol I was driving back from jersey yesterday after picking up a necchi supernova and I thought that's it, that's it --I'm done, it will be winter soon, I can't be driving all over the Tri-state area picking up machines in bad weather. So I made a deal with myself --it had to be a super low price and close to to home.

later that night what do you know somebody posted a very sweet Japanese clone for $20

lol picked it up on my way home from work today.

    oldsewnsew I do understand, completely!

Love those deals! What an adrenaline rush! You will love the 15-88. I just picked one up Sunday and it sews beautifully. It is for my niece. I found another 15-89? electric on CL but $175 for a Queen Anne cabinet/stool (ok, it IS beautiful) is too much! It hasn't sold since 8-24 so maybe...?

    LOL
I waited and looked around for a couple hours, but once I decided it was time, it looked like a I was sprinting for the restroom! (resisted a green Viking Husqvarna for $45)

Sideways, I'm so proud of myself. Today I passed up a 127 in bent wood, a red-eye treadle, and a White Rotary (I think) treadle. My wife looking over my shoulder may have boosted my resolve.

oldsewnsew, here's one more for you to resist... it's been on CL for a really long time. I think it needs a better home, & yours must be kinda close:

first I said "no, it's too far away to look at without being sure. A photo of the bobbin base/case area is important to me before I buy a 3rd FW. I thought maybe it was a little telling that there were 2 misspellings in the ad, and that one of them might be the reason they still have it... "sowing". It sounds good, but it's also a little odd they didn't post a photo. Nevertheless, I do have the phone number written down, "just in case" my will dissolves.
