So come cut up my scraps so i can make one of those adorable charm quilts. LOL I know you saw it asimplife. thanks for the info on how to organize it. that pile comes from last years push to get UFOs done. I need to have a scrap busting thread so I can do that. I know there is a stash busting thread, but need that scrap one. LOL
I do have the scrap thread marked. I just can't seem to give it away. I did give away about 10 pounds of fabric to a young lady starting in quilt. I told DH that I am going to just have to sew it together and make up a bunch of scrap quilts to donate. Maybe I should mad dash them all together and sell them at the craft show for $75 a piece just to use up the scraps.

QuilterMomma - I wish I could! Oddly I don't care much for cutting yardage for a new quilt but I love taking my scrap bin and cutting it up in to useable pieces. I have bins of squares and strips cut and ready to sew... my favorite kind of quilting is with scraps.

Nanna-up-north - Thank you... these charms are 6.5" which are perfect to show off those fun fabrics. I belonged to an online swap group years ago so I just love seeing them finally ready to be loved by someone small. Yesterday on my blog I showed a picture of my 10" stack of charm squares on my closet shelf for future quilts. LOL

Here is Charm Quilt #5 - UFO Finish #37 for 2013. I like the mix of softer colors with pops of bright in this one. I am so glad I discovered freehand walking foot waves for quilting - I think it looks great on these patchwork quilts. And it is fast and fun to do!

Wanted to post my most recent finish, a UFO dating back around 15 years. This finish definitely would not have happened without the encouragemwnt of this and the "therapy" thread so thanks gals!

DDuMouchel - I just love all of those 9 & 4 patches! The smaller the better... what a great layout.

I finally got this airplane quilt done...not an old UFO, just a quilt I started in January and was planning to finish in June...driver's ed running around took more time than expected, then I hurt my shoulder in July so was very limited on sewing time the last couple month. It is cloudy here today so the picture isn't the best. First time I've done a "flange" in the binding....not perfect, but it will do.
