    Default Lime pepper jelly?

Does any one have a recipe for a hot pepper lime jelly that works? I make jelly, jam and apple butter for our church bake sale and was requested to make lime pepper jelly. My hot apple pepper was a hit last year and I will do that again but when I tried to make the lime jelly yesterday it flopped!!! Any one know of a good cook book or web site I should visit? Thanks!

I would love the recipe for hot apple pepper jelly. and also I use the candy flavorings for some of my jellies, the Lorraine ones that come in really small bottles. They do make a lime flavoring. I would use that and add lime zest. I love to make hot pepper jelly I use it for everything, bagels, crackers, marinates and the likes. Hope this idea helps.

I make hot pepper jelly with cranberry juice. 1 qt cranberry juice, 1 cup hot peppers, 7 cups sugar, 6 oz Certo (fruit pectin), 1 and 1/4 cups apple vinegar--- red food color. In blender, chop jalapeņo peppers in cranberry juice. Strain. In lge container, boil juice, sugar, pectin, vinegar & food color for 2 min. Pour into jars, seal w/ paraffin. Makes 8 &1/2 pts. Love it with pork . So good with cream cheese on bagels. Or just with a spoon. Heehee

I make this all the time and I use the recipe in the flyer in the Certo box. I do revise the amount of Jalapenos I use depending on whom I'm going to give it to. If you don't find it message me and I'll post it for you.
