I guess you'd say since I got my new sewing machine early, which was for my birthday, that I'm just having my birthday quarter, lol. Did I mention how badly I needed potholders? My best friend, who is "That cake lady" on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/That-...664220?fref=ts), is going to be so jealous of them!

So, photos as promised! It's all so pretty!

When you said you wanted cancer awareness or sewing themed, I just figured it had to be reversible. Glad you like it but is that going to be a pain to get on and off your machine? looks like I could have made it a little wider or is it just sitting that way. I can fix it if it needs to be or send you the fabrics that you can put a gusset ( V ) in the sides.

It didn't have to be reversible, but reversible is awesome! It's snug, but not tight. It requires guiding over the bottom but it's not THAT tight. I've never put a gusset in before, but it's an option.

hello world! back from the flu. it wasn't pretty but I am crossing fingers today will be a better day. sure hope so! I have just opened mail from my partner who helped me with a couple extra ideas. I think that cover is beautiful and reversible is so fun. Lots of work in that! cute pot holders! I need those! my daughter would LOVE them she is a baker and well those would work perfectly in her kitchen. can we steal from each other? just wondering... and looked in the mail.. no licorice. HOw could that be??? I know its on its way RIGHT? I will send you moose balls if you like. (chocolate covered malt balls) or reindeer poop (chocolate raisins) in exchange

Brat, I will pop your licorice in Jaba's box when I send it. Do you think I can trust her to share with you?

Still not home, but partway there. A friend invited me to stop on the way home for dinner since I'd be passing through.

DustysMomma, glad to hear your on your way home safely. I'm sure your BFF really needed you for you to drop everything & go to her. Glad she had you!

OH OH today I received my birthday gift from my dear sweetheart. 8 yrs and he gives it to me early he is like a kid then he says open it. I look at the box and think oh my I don't think that is fabric or a gift certificate. Nope it sure isn't. I have named my birthday gift Waldo. He is friends with Wallie now. I am so.. jazzed I can hardly contain myself. I am now very worried about Christmas. Oh DEER what will he think of next? Jaba will post for me my wonderful item. Still cant post for some reason.

Oh how adorable! I bet he was cute when he was.....well....not stuffed, too.

Finally made it home. It's been a long weekend. It was good to see her, but I'm hoping not to need to make another of those trips for that reason.
