Very cute, and beautifully made! DebbE has great suggestions for what to put inside. A movie or game night theme might be fun, too: A DVD, microwave popcorn, deck of cards, theatre passes, etc. Or "girl" stuff -- socks, makeup, soft houseshoes, manicure set, fragrance, soaps, etc.

Love your bag! Found a copy on eBay!

First of all I must say what a darling bag. I agree with most of the post here. Customize them to each person. Find out there favorite colors or find fabrics that represent their interest and then fill those puppies up with goodies for their hobbies or interests. The possibilities are endless regardless of age. Younger girls would love them full of cosmetics, hair accessories, and such. More mature ladies would love them with hobbies items. I could image receiving one filled full of quilting items and done in a novelty fabric of the many cutsie things I love. Just have fun with them and most of all add something that smells good to each of them like hand lotions or a small bottle of bathwash.

Absolutely adorable - are to you open to adopt? - I'm available. I think they could be used for hold just about anything - toiletries, sewing items, goodies. Whatever is in it would be a great gift.

You need to go back thru and read the posts as the pattern is not online. The OP provides the name of the magazine and a picture of the cover. Then track down a copy. I found it on ebay, there were others listed for sale there.

I am so glad you found a copy paper princess. I saw the copy on E Bay for sale too. Page two (of this thread) has the picture of the spring issue of the magazine cover. You girls in a guild might ask around to your fellow quilter's. You never know.

Thanks so much for the sweet comments girls. Good luck with your hunt.

Your bag is really nice! I'm almost tempted to try to make bags also. Does anyone have any blogs or sites that have free patterns to make?
