I'm also still in. Theme of light/dark Depression Block from QC still works for me. Thank you!

I want to continue with this but due to some personal issues going on I may not be able to join in until January. I so want this but I know over the next 2-3 months my life will be extremely crazy and busy with my mom.

Ok all, I have you down. Glad ya'all are in. Createfourpaws, I have you down, but on hold (does that make sense-lol). Hope things calm down for you soon. Just let me know when you're ready to start again. I still haven't heard from Patrice about where I can post the info msg. Maybe she'll see this. IF it comes right down to it, I'll post my email address here and you can send me msgs that way. Hopefully she'll ans. asap. OH, while I'm here - let's try to keep the choice of fabrics/themes/blocks easy for all..Some are new to the site, others don't always have a way to get out to get fabrics that their partner wishes. Keep in touch with each other and ya'all can decide amongst each other. Does all that make sense?

This is a NEW Monthly Quilting Bee Block Swap. If you are interested in joining or re-joining, PLEASE email me at: [email protected] The reason for the email is if there are too many PM’s, it will show full…this way I can access your info easily.
Each month, you will make one block for an assigned partner who will make you one in return. All blocks should be mailed so that the recipient receives them by end of the month, being on time is of the greatest importance. IF there are mitigated circumstances, please let me and your partner know asap. When you get your partner, and you have PM’d them, if they have not responded within 72 hrs, please email me and a new partner will be assigned. I realize problems come up, but there’s no excuse for not communicating unless you’re dead!
    ***********
    1. You will receive a swap pal name, and it is up to you to confer with your partner for theme and address. You will have ONE month to make one block for that person and send it to them. The blocks must be 100% prewashed cotton, 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" unfinished (12" when finally sewn into a quilt). You can make them in any fashion - pieced, appliqued, paper-pieced, embroidered, other methods - as long as you follow your swap partner's specifications to the best of your ability so their project can be unified. Please think carefully about your pattern and choice of fabrics, as some are not able to get out and purchase speciality items.

    2. At the end of the month all the names will be reassigned. Please send an email to the hostess prior to the end of the month if you wish to have your name taken off the list.

    3. Participants may change their theme if they wish by sending an email to the hostess.

    4. New members may join at any time but may have to wait until the next reassignment of names to receive a partner. ((However, many participants are willing to do extra swaps - so it may be possible to find an interim partner for you)).

PLEASE NOTE: We have several international swap participants, so occasionally your partner may be in another country (which means it will cost slightly more for you to send their block).

Please join the fun - a great chance to make new blocks & new friends .

    HAVE FUN..
    Jean

Are you starting a new thread...or just continuing on this one? The bold letters in your post did not take me to a new page. Thanks
