    I have a two fabric quilt that might be of interest. It is made of two blocks, a 9 patch and a rail fence. They are alternated and on point. You start with 2 1/2 inch strips.

    Let me see if I can find a picture of it. It might work for you?

    Or maybe a Carpenter's Starr. This actually was easier than I thought. It went together quickly. Ignore the quilt inspector. I had thrown his orange mouse toy for him....trying to get him to stay off the quilt so I could get a picture...and he was too fast for me. Seven quilt pictures, and he is in all of them. He is just sooo helpful.)

    tHREE FABRIC QUILTS by Leni Levenson Wiener has some great 2 fabric with an additional neutal or solid quilts. I would check that one out.
