Dedemac - believe it or not I haven't made it to Mills End yet. That's my husband's aunt's favorite shop so I really have no excuse. Maybe I'll check it out this weekend. I've only been in MN for two years so really still learning my way around. I love Millie P's in Anoka and Quilted Treasures in Rogers. They aren't super close, but always worth the trip. Otherwise, Crafty Planet in Northeast is just 10 minutes away. It isn't a quilt shop and their displays are always outdated, but they have lovely fabrics and embroidery patterns. I visited several shops during the MN Shop Hop - just finished a quilt top from the state park fabrics (haven't quilted it yet but the photo is posted on my profile page). I think I'll check out the Fall Harvest Shop Hop in a couple weeks as well. Any excuse to cruise around to the local shops!

Got a wonderful pattern today for ornaments. May just add one to my SS box.

Also went to my quilt meeting today and was introduced to the Twister Tool that we were commenting on the other day. Purchased one of the patterns for it that came with a small Tool. We are making Twisted Trees. Looks like it will be fun.

Those are really pretty, care to share the pattern? OR give us a tute on it?
Be sure to show us your twisted tree too. That sounds very interesting???

Wow had to catch up again!!! I do not have a quilters calculator but have looked at them and wondered how hard they are to use. I love the idea of homemade buttons! I love chocolate of any kind, plus I love pretty smelling candles and stuff. I do not own an embroidery machine. My sewing room is decorated with Coca Cola items. I love Coke stuff. I hope I have given enough info to my secret santa!!! If I can help any more just let me know!!! Woohoo this is going to be so much fun!!!!!!!!!

RWQuilts, I want it all. LOL Just in case it is me I can give a short list. Bargello, Mariners Compass, or Sea Urchin Pattern. Books for the same along with Perfect Parchwork Set G. I have the templates but no books for that one. I could always use rotary blades, 45 and 28 mm. Wonder clips, flying geese ruler, Pellon 805, anything else you want to send. I am easy easy to please.
Quilty Loise, if you have me, I do not have an embroidery machine so dont need anything for it.

Another question:
Do you have a "Quilter's FabriCalc" (calculator just for quilters for those who may not know)

If I have your name and you say no you don't have one and you would like too
than I MIGHT just send it to you providing I have room in your box.
I just need the RIGHT person to answer my questions LOL.
No I am still not going to tell you WHO LOL

Way way back when I was young, we had "Autograph books and we'd we'd get our friends & everybody to write a short inspirational, or funny verse in our book. That was a common one, (usually our teachers) would write in our books.
