Your quilt is great and a lot better than my first one.

You're off to a great start - a very striking quilt.

Pretty nice start to your quilting career! Try looking on craigslist for quilters stashes at cheap prices. Estate sales sometimes specifically list quilting supplies too.

What a great quilt. It's a very classic looking design.

You go girl. your on your way. check thrift shop, for bag sales and buy xxxlg shirts . almost a full yard of material. also put up a notice in your church or social gatherings, and say scrap fabric wanted. You would be surprised. the response you wil get. cmaras1234

Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilt. The design and colors look wonderful together.

You mentioned quilting being an expensive hobby. Some ideas for you to help defray the cost of fabric is to check out thrift stores. Our church has one and I have found wonderful fabric there. I have a friend that has found treasures at Yard Sales..rulers, thread etc. Wishing you the best in the future with your next projects!
