I think what made it so fun was using other types of fabric; plus getting to use all of the different stitches on my machine. The addition of fleece and chenille really makes it fun to rub your hand over it. Hope you enjoy looking at it. This was my first big applique project.

Thank you for all your nice comments!!! A couple of people asked how long did it take me to make. I think it took me longer to gather all of the different fabric than it did to make it. hahaha I think I started on it in July and finished it this past weekend. I only had weekends to work in it when we had nothing scheduled to do and I work full-time, so I really don't know how long it took me. I can tell you it was a lot of fun to make and kind of sad it's done. I forgot to mention in my first post that the magazine issues were in 2010.
