This is very attractive. To me it has a very old fashion feeling, like lots of cozy naps had been taken under it. I like it very much.

Can you make the name of the pattern available to us?

Love these colors together, your quilt is beautiful! The block looks like the traditional block "Gretchen" shown at quilterscache.com. Is this the one you used?

The block is similar but the one I did is not paper pieced and is put together differently. I don't know the name of the block-we had it as a class project-I believe this pattern is going to be published in AUSTRALIAN patchwork Quilting in January next year. I have some basic instructions only.
