Default Giraffe quilt for baby

I needed a quick baby quilt for my second great grandbaby...a girl. I put together a bunch of tumblers, drew a BIG giraffe( had to be a giraffe),buttonhole stitched it on,used minkee on the back(first time I tried it on my longarm...love working with it),and quilted it with mostly stipples. The minkee is a very pretty mint green....not white like the picture shows. It came out very soft with the minkee backing and poly batting. Still needs the binding.

I love it!! Love the tumbler background and the applique. I, too, love putting applique over a pieced background.

That giraffe is so cute as is the quilt. He looks like he has personality galore.
