Ooh, how pretty! I was just looking at this pattern in my McCalls quilting this morning before coming into work. I really like the more muted colors that you chose.

I wouldn't change a thing. It is lovely as is. I don't think it matters about the ribbon. We quilters usually are too critical of our own work and look for boo boo's, but no one else would even notice. I think you did a great job. Leave it as is. Thanks for sharing photo.
