Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I need warmth today - it is only in single digits outside.

I am in the panhandle, Alliance to be exact, but I do go to the Scottsbluff/Gering area on a regular basis for all my sewing needs.

Go Huskers!!

(P.S. For those not in the know: Nebraska has only one university, thus we ALL support the Huskers. On home game days, the stadium is the 3rd largest city in Nebraska.)

Howdy from Texas - my daughter, SIL, and 2 grandbabies live right outside of Omaha (air force). I go there often and love it. And you will love this site.

Hello from San Antonio, TX --I am from Nebraska and no matter what those bumper stickers say (I got to TX as fast as I could)I miss Nebraska, Go Big Red, the tornados....the list goes on and on. One nice thing I learned in TX was how to quilt and to read the forums. So keep on reading
