When Martelli has a 50% off sale, I buy them in huge lots. Last time I did, my two quilting neighbors and I shared them. I still have some that I have not used yet. In order to get their sales, you will need to sign up on their website and they will send you a newsletter announcing their sales. I bought my round about from them at half price too. I noted that they have a coupon redeemable only at the Houston IQF for rotary blades for any of you who plan to attend. You can either print and cut the coupon out or show them your email on your smart phone to redeem the coupon.

Ditto .... I've had a couple of bad ones but at such low cost tossing one doesn't feel bad ... buy in bulk and always have on hand.

I think a pkg of 10 blades was like 18.90 plus shipping of course. Handy to order on line instead of having to run to the store. I have heard others say they get the ordered thru Harbor Freight and they like them also. I have never dealt with them.
The blades I've gotten from Harbor Freight skip terribly. I know others have not been happy with them....FYI!

I have tried the Harbor Freight Blades . They seem to get dull faster so the value isn't there for me.

I use my 40% or 50% coupon at micheals. They are never on sale so I can always use my coupon.

He also will exchange old blades for new at a discounted price.
I also order these online, getting new Olfa blades in the mail, alleviates me going to the LQS - I don't like to discard my old blades (who knows where they end up), therefore I keep them in the old pkg and when I order new pkgs, send these back to LPSharp, and by returning the used blades for new ones - get a better deal.

I agree. Harbor Freight is worth the savings. I buy them, too. Joannes with a coupon would prob be the next best, but always witha coupon.

I buy generic blades online from SouthStar Supply. I get 10 - 45 MM blades for 19.99 plus shipping. This last time I bought 20 blades. With shipping this cost about $49. This is about 2.50 per blade. I have been using them for years.

The Olfa blades on Joann's are $60 for 10. So even with a 50% off coupon it still costs $30.

I order blades from jhittlesewing.com and buy at least 10 at a time. Excellent service.
