Default Quilt for a bride

Recently, I gifted a family bride with this large throw quilt in her favorite colors: gray and green. It is an easy pattern that works up quickly and no matching seams. :-)

Pretty and the colors are very soothing. Do you mind me asking what size the individual strips are?

Thx Sharon. I sewed two 2.5" strips together, then sub-cut into 4.5 pcs. Sew the 4 in a windmill shape to make each block - 8" finished. Each strip set will yield 2 finished blocks. My quilt was in a 8X8 arrangement (64" X 64") and no order.

Thx Patski, I don't know the pattern name and can't even remember where I first saw it, but figured out the measurements myself. You could make any size, just be careful that the sewn strip set measures the same as the sub-cuts. Someone told me the pattern is called Hopscotch.

Thanks for the size info. I have some scraps that would look nice in this pattern. Thank you for the inspiration!
