Now that said, I am worried that the packages I sent haven't arrived yet. I posted to my DD who lives in Texas on the same day and she received her chocolate stash days ago!!!!!!

Also, sadly I still haven't received any ornies yet.... But I understand that they are probably coming from across the pond so maybe I will have to be patient for a little longer!

hugs

Caroline

I guess that's why I can't sleep now. everyone, I need a project to work on at night. all of you put your heads together and come up with something. thank you

yea CarolinePaj it does make us start looking around when we realize we are outliving the ages of relatives. dad gone at 56 and mom and her sisters just past 60. so, we hug the grandkids, our friends and children and live for the day. plan for the future; just incase we get lucky and outlive our worries.

You kids are just babies, have kids as old or older then you... I could write a book about the things life isn't about... Just enjoy each day to the best of your ability and help someone else enjoy theirs... You still have time to help someone in someway each day.. A smile, phone call... whatever...

I agree with you ladybug, I try to do something special every day, even if it's just a smile to someone who doesn't have one, or holding a door for someone. Makes you feel good!! I got all my ornaments, and I love each one of them. I really lucked out this year with my partners. such great jobs everyone has done. I can't wait for the next swap. as I've said b4, i'm starting on next year already.

Oh to be 50 again. I am starting to get mail for media care. I do think my next birthday will be the hardest. Not ready for 65. I could say I am 56 and that wont be so bad.

Hmm..on shipping light bulb ornys, how about putting them back in the "sleeve box" they came in, then wrapping bubble wrap or newsprint around that..and make sure they are snug in the middle of the box you use, with extra padding all around..I am a "pad it, tape it gal" obsessively so..
