    I'd love to see a hanky sampler as I also have lots of hankies from my mom and grandmother.

    Love the projects shown on the Pinterest page. I have thought about using my old hankies as a window treatment of some sort but our sunlight is so strong here in FL that I'm afraid they would bleach out in now time and be ruined.

    I did a cat quilt for my granddaughter a few years ago with the cats in different poses and some of the pictures spilling outside the frame of the blocks. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture before I gave it to her. All of the cats came from coloring book pages on line that I modified and re-sized to fit the blocks and I kept the outlines to simple silhouettes to make the applique go faster. I fused the cats with windowed fusible and then button-hole stitched the cats down. The only tricky part was where bits of the cats had to be outside the block itself.
