I got my package delivered today while I was gone shopping. How fun to come home to it sitting proudly on my porch. Thank you so much SS! Mine rattles and jingles and is so very big. How exciting to be a part of the party now.
    :~)

I'm probably never going to be a fast quilter, even with the simple patterns.

Congrats, on your new LA! However, it's rather upsetting, to learn there will be no snickerdoodles! After you get your LA together, we expect to see snickerdoodles and more snickerdoodles!
Actually, the quilts we took down were quilts that I merely quilted for her. She made most of the tops, then I sandwiched, quilted them, and Sunnie did the binding. We did make the pillowcases though. We figured it wasn't much more expensive to drive them down than to mail them in priority boxes. We had a bunch of other stuff to take her anyway, so it worked out well.

Grannof6, kudo's on the quilts & pillowcases! Your timing is just in time for the holidays & will cheer the recipients, I'm sure. Congrats on an early Christmas present of the new longarm too! I'm jealous! I'd like to upgrade to a bigger machine too, but haven't the moola.

Weatherman says we're supposed to get hit today with sleet & possibly snow tonight. Sleet mainly, with accumulations of 1/2" to 1" of ice on the roads. Sure glad GS doesn't have school this week, 'cuz the buses would have a hard time getting through. We'll just stay nice & cozy here at the homefront.

Hint for the day: You get way more snow that I do!
