Default What border would you recommend? Help! :-)

I recently finished piecing the quilt below. I can't decide what fabric to use for the border. I attached two additional photos with closeups of the potential border fabric next to it. I don't have enough of any of the other fabrics to create a border, and I don't want to buy more fabric (this has been made completely from scraps).

I also have a bunch of 2" squares left that I could use for the border.

Please let me know what you think.... I'm stumped!

How about a narrow green then a wider blue?

I like that idea. Or just a single blue border

I think a blue border the size of the big squares would be nice. Nice scrappy!

I think I would cut 2 1/2" strips about 6" to 10" long and use all of the different fabrics.

How about a narrow green, then a 2 inch scrappy border, then a wider blue border.

    Really love those scrappy quilts!

    I love the quilt.
After the time and trouble you went to to make it I don't think you should settle on your choice for the borders. (If you're asking, it could be you're not completely satisfied with any of your choices.) If it was mine, I would go with a white border to match the blocks with the white borders. I think that would really bring them out.
    My 2 cents,
    Rodney

I would use a dark narrow border next to the quilt to "frame" it, then a larger outer border in a lighter fabric. Of the three you auditioned I would use the blue with stars and the green solid.

Lay out the green solid, put the blue over it leaving a good 4" of the green showing in a corner, then lay your quilt over the blue with about 1" showing - again on a corner. Stand back and take a look.
