Happy you received the runner! I am not a real blingy gal...but I love me some metallic fabrics and metallic threads!! So happy you like them as well! Did you get the Halloween panel I tucked in with it? Um, I did tuck it in, didn't I??!! Lol...
Hope you can get some well deserved rest!
Happy Thanksgiving all! We will be celebrating ours on Sunday as my dh has to work. Ah well, it's the spirit of the celebration..the meaning behind our giving thanks that counts..along with the yummy food, fellowship, and family!

kiffie to make it short, yup I got it being me I forgot to post it. its the cutest Halloween panel ever I plan to cut it up sorry and to use it in a wall hanging for my sister she will love. she is 100 percent about Halloween, 70 percent other holidays. Its her big one

I sent all photos to Jaba to post for me hopefully I labeled them well as I couldn't get them onto facebook to bring back over here this morning. I have to run as I am in clinic but Happy thanks giving all of you! back later when I am rested after this day.

Beautiful pictures! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Thanksgiving -- it's 5 o'clock on the West coast, so I figure everyone east of here has eaten and is napping about now. Sweet dreams!\

I've had to take a bit of a break from sewing and typing anything but work stuff, since my cat bit me hard on the thumb (I guess my thumb looks like a big, juicy bug -- she was playing bug patrol). But it's healing up and I'm looking forward to sewing Saturday. DH wants to go to Joann's after I get off work Friday, so woo-hoo!

Arent those the most wonderful gifts? it truly was Christmas in my mailbox

I have a little story to tell about my Thanksgiving dinner. I had my guest over from clinic. We are sitting around the table enjoying our meal telling stories etc and well it comes up about when did I start getting sick. I say.. well I was healthy as a horse all my life. I told people I wasn't getting sick until I was at least 70.. at which point my guest chimes in with.. YOUR 70??? I would have thought you were 60! my dh is staring hard really hard at his mashed potatoes and smirking .. I kick him big time. I said no no I am not 70. did not throw out you knucklehead I am 52!!! yikes. wow good to know I only look 60. Oil of Olay where are you????? grrrr does that sum it up? ok I laughed inside but wanted to sorta kick him too under the table .. like you DORF.

ok had to share that.. still had a great dinner but boy heartburn central. I know it was the gravy but it was.. soooo good! I had to have it on everything. I never make gravy because dh hates it but well had a good excuse yesterday. gave it all away so it wouldn't kick my rear again today. sigh...

Oh.my.goodness! Sorry Brat, but I had a laugh, too!! I mean what can we do really, but laugh!! And want to secretly kick Mr Dinner Guest! I think what really got me was ur hubby smirking and trying to not look at u...as that is something my dh would've done! Look at it this way, obviously Mr Dinner Guest needs glasses! Poor lil guy...
We are having our feast Sunday, got the cornbread made, prepping for Mom's "to die for stuffing/dressing". Now every year she tells me I need to learn to make it. Which every year I tell her she's still around, so no thanks! Plus she doesn't follow a recipe, never has..it's a pinch of this, a dab of that, mix this in, sample, add whatever seems to be missing. Now tell me how someone learns that recipe??!! Ok, ok, maybe I don't want to learn it... Actually I know how she makes it, am in kitchen making desserts and rolls at same time. But mine will NEVER taste as good as Moms. Facts are facts..
