When asked I can never remember what I've been drooling over!! I like technique books -- don't have any on my wish list at this point though. I would like to get all the issues of the magazine by Bill Kerr and Weeks Ringle. Needles for my machine are always good -- maybe even some embroidery designs.

My personal wish list includes a larger cutting mat, flat head pins, a bobbin box, a wider & longer ruler, rotary cutter blades, and somebody to help me reorganize my studio.

I've tried "Clean my refrigerator" or "Clean my bathrooms" for years, but no one ever does it for me. It's what I want, mind you, but no one wants to do it any more than I do!

I usually just ask for a donation to my favorite charity. I can get whatever I want for me (Thank you, God!) so never really 'want' or 'need' anything.

DH and I tell each other, "You just bought me a (fill in blank) for Christmas. Do you want to wrap it?"

I pretty much buy whatever I want/need throughout the year. He'll ask me what I want, I tell him, he says "Order it." I'm low maintenance when it comes to quilting supplies, however machine feet - that is a different ball game. I am getting complete sets of feet together for my 4 good machines. I may never use them to their potential, but if I decide to sell the machine, they will be a nice selling point.

When my husband asked was is On my quilting wish list, I told him I would like a variety of marking implements, chalk pencils, silver lead, markers, etc. My husband just raised his eyebrows, and said go for it. I spent black friday on the Joann's site, 50% off notions, and I had fun. a box of "stuff" is heading my way, He will have fun wrapping all the "things" I bought. We both have everything we need ( we are lucky), and our wants are specific and not grand (except for a longarm for me, a car restoration for him), I rather get quilting notions than a vaccuum!!

For me, I recently asked for plastic shoeboxes, some divided plastic containers or a new multiple drawer system since I'm starting to sort scraps down to nice usable piece like Bonnie Hunter uses. If I can have one with some deeper drawers to put the scrap pile into I can keep them out of sight but more importantly keep the cats out of them. The thinner drawers could be used to hold the "cuts" while the wait for me to get to them.

To me that would be a great gift.
