Oh no, this is a really cool piece of fabric! It kinda gives me flashbacks to the 80's when neon colors were all the rage the first time... I might still have the clothes to prove it. I'd probably do a block from the last swap and add a little bit of a turquoise blue depending on how big the pattern is:

Sorry to disagree with seasaw but I like it, too! The first time I saw it, I wasn't too sure but it is growing on me. I think it will make some great blocks.
Wow looking at the fabrics you all are using I'm almost embarrassed to show mine. But here it is. This is NOT something I would normally pick (and I didn't) My 12 year old granddaughter picked the fabric for me to make her a quilt but I can't for the life of me come up with any ideas that I like so I'm asking you all help me out with this. I know what ever you do will be pretty but I'm lost on this fabric.

Reminder!!! Fabric size is 18x11!!!
REMINDER, REMINDER, REMINDER!!!!
Fabric should be cut in FAT EIGHTHS, NOT EIGHTHS. A Fat Eighth (F8) is 18x11, not 9x22. Please be sure to cut correctly!!!!

my theme is the phantom of the opera (my all-time favorite movie), and i'm sending several different fabrics. The colors are jeweltone purple, red, green, and gold. Some of you will get blenders of these colors, and others will receive focal fabric with masquerade masks or sheet music. Everyone will get a square of the phantom of the opera fabric (the last one in my photo) that you can incorporate into your block if you want. I plan to use black for the sashing. All blocks are welcome (traditionally-pieced, paper-pieced, applique', embroidery, etc.). I'll be using this same fabric for the other boom swap here, as well.

Boomers, does anyone know Jadee3? She's signed up but I haven't been able to get in touch with her since 11/24. If anyone knows her, please email me. Thanks.

Here's my weird batik and am asking you to just use ivory with it. Have it all cut and ready to go unless I change my mind....not quite sure yet.
