I bought one this fall and love it!

You are so fortunate! Enjoy that machine! I am quilting a full size quilt on my Bernina Artista 200 with its 7" harp and wishing that I had more space. I do love the BSR. If I didn't have that, I'd really complain. I'd say that you got the best Christmas present ever.

Oh what a fabulous husband just what you needed. I purchased a juki straight stitch for my frame for the same reason. I gave up quilting large quilt on my bernina 440 and split large quilts into smaller shapes. It is so much easier.
Unfortunately we are not as fit as the 30 year olds who say do this a husband who understands these problems. Have fun.

CONGRATULATIONS. I'd say DH is definitely a keeper. Have fun and enjoy your new Bernina 710. Lucky girl.

Congratulations. I recently bought a Janome 8200 with the 11" harp space to put on my frame. I'm also waiting for the Janome 15000 but it won't be delivered until February. It will be designated embroidery machine only.
