Come to the thimble collectors convention in Kansas City MO this summer….details on www.thimblecollectors.com. Best selection of thimbles anywhere with members from all over the world!

I posted a new thread yesterday with link info that I found for patterns. However, I can't seem to find my thread. So here is where you go...
https://www.google.com/#q=crochet+th...holder+pattern
and there are all kinds of links to free patterns for the thimble hat and also the wishbone holder. I hope some of you talented ladies will show us your creations. I thought these cute little treasures might be a thing of the past. Heck, I might even try my hand at making some. They would be great for craft sales. Wouldn't they?

That's very pretty and unique. I bet it could be made using fabric, batting, and lace, for those of us who don't know how to crochet.

Yes I did it!!! I tried to do such a little needle case for myself!!! I took some crochet thread made from cotton and a crochet hook # 2.5 and then I started..... Was a little bit like "try and error", but I managed it!!!

It's difficult to give an exact description how to do this: it depends on how big is the thimble and what kind of thread you use.... I started with a ring of 4 chain stitches and gain loops until there about 15, when the height of the thimble is reached, I made two loops out of each bow so that I can make the "brim of the hat"!!! I hope the pictures shows a little bit of this construction!!!

1000Scraps: Thank you, thank you! Your hat thimble holder looks really good. I can't wait to try it. You are the best, working out the pattern AND sharing it!
