I thought I had a TL 18 because I purchased it as a TL & it has a TL plate on it, but just had it upgraded by Dekk't Out Quilting & turns out it is really a 2007 Viking 18x8. Big surprise, be careful about purchasing a used quilting machine even from a dealer.

APQS Lucey with the 12ft frame, Stitch regulator, no computer. I've only had her since the beginning of November and not nearly enough time with her. In fact, I'm going to get off this computer and go spend some time with her.

I'm thinking the first upgrade will be the hydraulic lift. I swore I'd never need it, but apparently some days I'm shorter than others.

I have a Nolting Pro 24" and love it.
The machine is super easy to maintain.
I did all my homework and test drove machines before I bought my machine.
I really like that it is all made in the USA. The cust service is top notch. If you have to call and ask questions, the guys never ever rush you and make sure you get the problem solved. Even is it is putting the needle in backwards...lol

if you have any questions send me an email and I will be happy to answer any question

I have a Tin Lizzie and do mostly loops and meandering and some pantoms. How do you do borders with a different, I can do the top and bottom borders, but cannot figure out how to continue down the sides and make it anything at all like the top and bottom. I need some help.

I have a Gammill Statler and am in the learning stages yet. Very challenging, but exciting. The possibilities are endless and I doubt I'll ever stop learning.

So sorry to hear that. My first rep. was not so good but that rep is no longer with the company. Let the company know you are not getting the help you need.

One of the fun things about Nolting if you call them you just may get the owner answering the phone. A nice intimate company.
peace

Hi, Janice. If you are wanting to use a pantograph on side borders, you need to first do the top border, continue quilting down through the middle, complete the bottom border, then as long as the side borders are stabilized with stitch-in-the ditch or basting stitches, the quilt is removed and reloaded the other way. Then those side borders are quilted as the new top and bottom borders.
