How beautiful! I've been watching a number of tutorials on the bargello design and want to attempt one for a granddaughter who will be graduating high school this coming May. I have to say yours is one of the prettiest I've ever seen...

That is beautiful. I love how that gold section looks like its jumping out from the middle!

Thanks, everyone. The boo boo was where the gold goes into the gray. If you look close you will see the darkest gold above the line of dark golds. I put the strip of 5 golds in upside down. Just had to take it out and turn it around.

I had probably close to 24 hours in cutting, sewing, and piecing. It wasn't a quick top but I was so excited about it that I didn't mind at all. The center strips were 3/4 inch before sewing. It seemed to take forever with little progress because I added 7 strips and it amounted to less than two inches of quilt top. LOL. But in the end.....
