A spider web is on my to do list for 2014. I'm thinking of maybe floating the points. I have a martelli ruler to cut the wedges. Has anyone used the martelli spiderweb ruler?

There is a nice pattern for one on http://maryquilts.com It plays tricks on my eyes to look at it. It seems like the webs float.

Thank you for the information, I just ordered 2 reams. The shipping cost more than the paper. Still, worth it. Here's the link - it was a bit hard to find:

The tablets at the dollar store are 9 by 11, and my printer won't take them. This is the perfect solution, I've been to all the big office supply stores, and they don't carry newsprint. I was glad to find this.

I put several pieces of paper with the template pattern on top, and sew through them with a large unthreaded needle.
