I need to photo my what I call scraps a bunch of organized by color piles all less than a f4 for the most part just left overs that I am dying to put to work soon so I can get rid of them. They keep flopping over they are too tall for their bases to hold up. think I have a full quilt or two in those. then we get to the f4 collection, one whole four drawer free standing container and then there is the large box with about 50 more inside all my green brown and rusty colors way too many for one person to own. the next year I plan to kill all of them. ok that wont happen. I plan to use at least half of them so I can get it to a reasonable number and reduce those scrappy stacks by half also. This is my quilty goal for the next year. Put together ufo's. what are you planning for the new year? I know there is a fabric moratorium and a ufo group in another category wondering if we could have a CHECK IT OUT! LOOK what I made with my stash this year lol posting here.. sharing what we have ufo like trades and all love encouraging each other, seeing the creative uses of scraps.

My first goal will be to finish the WH if I don't have it done by the new year. I don't want it hanging over my head and I am a slow quilter so the work on it needs to be spread out.

After the WH I want to get all my UFOs in order. there are 23 on my list to get quilted and I have no clue as to the number that are still in the piecing stage.

I want this coming year to be one of finishing the tops in waiting. All the parts are ready to go, backing and binding are waiting to be married. All I need is to get the batting and a lot of them don't even need that. I can use left over batting for the smaller quilts and piece the batting for them.

That is all I really want to do and if I get them done I will start the in progress stack.

I could use all the encouragement I can get, thanks so much. I like your idea to share the load so to speak. Lets do it!
    peace

The UFO challenge group worked for me. Got a UFO done that I had in a closet for 17 years.

Good for you LAQUITA, Are you going to share it with a picture. We like pictures in the swap! My background blocks are sewn together and I am working on piecing the surprise that will be on top of it. The background of mine is posted above and there is much to show as far as progress on it yet. as I finish some of the surprise I will post a picture of it.

Glad to see that you are working on it. The site has been very quiet through the Christmas season and I think it will pick up now and we will start to see some action. I like action!
    peace
