It nailed me right on for St Louis! Except also eEast coast. BUT my Mom and Aunt I speak to 2-3 times a week are East Coast! And I've been told I sound a little like them. How weird and fun!

I am glad y'all liked the test.
Although I have lived in Oregon for the past 10 years my accent remains slightly southern.
I spent most of my adult life in Texas and several southern states.
My family gets a kick out of the way I talk. Some words come out strange...like oil, neighborhood. I say fixin' and crik (creek), move house instead of theater. The list goes on.
Happy New Year!!

oh my goodness. I did it again, changed a few and had some new questions. I moved from Mississippi to Alabama and Greensboro this time!! further (or is that farther?) away from Texas. Go figure!! he, he.

I tried it too, despite never living anywhere other than Canada. It said Buffalo, NY, and Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale, FL. (I'm guessing that's all the snowbirds. ) Washington was Dark red, and when we vacation there, we tend to feel at home.
