They are wonderful quilts and children! I started a quilt for a nephew long ago and his father talked me out of it. Said to just buy him a watch. I regret it now because that was his father talking and I didn't get a chance to find out if he would have liked it. Over the years I have found out that many guys LOVE their quilts. The wrestling team would fight over them at my DD's apt in college when they watched TV!

Yes, boys do like quilts! Both the grown up ones and the little ones. My DGS (age 9) wants to pick out fabric for either a pillowcase or a quilt every time we go to the store or he comes in my sewing room. And he wants it made now!
