My initial plan was 8" stars with some 4" to break it up But I had a learning curve with the software so they will all be 10 inch
The software will print from 4" to 16".
That blue star fabric is soooo pretty.

I need to pull some papers so I can show a pretty too!

I got my Alabama block sewn together today...didn't take too long. I cut everything on Wednesday so that step was out of the way. Alaska will take a little longer since it has a more pieces. I'll post the picture in a couple days...

Here is my Alabama, it was fun to do but I am wavering on whether to do a dark or light background.

I just ordered the book and plan to join in. I also am doing the Mystery bom on Carol's yahoo group. Absolutely love it!

beautiful blocks! my Alabama is in the 8 sections, and i will join them this evening and then post.

I tried to follow Carol Doak instructions instead of cheating my way through like I normally do, the block sections look wonderful. I am going to cut the fabric for the next two tonight.

Anyone else in the middle of this arctic blast? We are looking at -25 degrees Monday for a HIGH, eek! All the schools around us are closing already for Monday and possibly Tuesday. With a stiff wind we are looking at windchills of -50. Time to get the wood stove going, put a pot of soup on, and sew, sew, sew. After we do our school work, homeschooler here. We work when its crummy and the schools are closed so we can play when its nice out.
