My main goal is to finish UFO's. That being said, I have a table runner to do for my mother that she picked out just before Christmas (due by June), a quilt for my son (fabric picked out last summer), and the BOM I am currently working on from one of my LQS's.

Use the FMQ skills to finish a couple of UFO's.

My goals: A. Finish at least ONE UFO per month B. Do not join any more block swaps or mystery quilt groups C. IF I stick to A& B, then I will allow myself to make one new quilt...I want a star quilt..all stars, in fall colors.

My first quilt is to be one I want to make for my DD. I have the fabric but haven't found the right pattern yet. Then one for my guest room from my stash. Next to try to finish some UFO's. Then some summer dresses for my DGD. I want to make a fall quilt and start bag's, pot holders and table runners for next Christmas gifts.

My projects I have planned:
1. finish the Christmas quilt I started in October.
2. Double wedding ring (Quilt in a day style)
3. A big star quilt (MQC)
4. The new disappearing pinwheel by MQC. Love it.
5. A crazy quilt made with my vintage linen collection.
Maybe I need to retire from my full time job. LOL!

I want to make the disappearing pin wheel that I saw on the MSSQC tutorial with Jenny Doan.
I want to make a lap sized version of the surf song bargello.
I saw a picture of a scrappy with 2 in squares somewhere and I want to make that with my leftover Christmas squares (I can't remember the directions, but it would be easy to figure out).
I would like to do more applique in the hoop this year.
I hope to do a weekend with Bonnie Hunter again this year, so I'll do whatever she's teaching.
I have a quilt in my mind using crisp white to make different shaped stars with a Christmas red background. I'd like to get that one done too, but we'll see.

I have a few to make this year I have bought the fabric for that I hope to make and gift.

1.) Tennessee waltz
2.) Misty Pines
3.) Bento Box
4.) Fractured Facets
5.) Christmas Ornaments bargello table runners for six persons (connecting Threads)

Then there are those charity quilts and UFO's calling my name. And last, but not least, for myself want new potholders and placemats that I will work in between the others.

Oh and come to think about it, I have five different drawers of swap blocks ready to set too.

Oh dear....

I need to finish my Trip Around the World postage stamp quilt, and I have a new pattern from Annie's that is a Log Cabin with stars, just finished buying the jelly rolls for that and I want to enlarge the pattern and make at least one, maybe two of these. Otherwise, I have a bunch of UFO's I can tackle when I get bored with these. And the pieces cut for a Lone Star that I have meant to handpiece for accuracy....I could start that one as well.

Do a mariner's compass, and maybe some other stars.
