My package came and I walked 'all the way down' to the club house to get it!! LOL It is so cold here, brrrrrrr. I can't wait to get started. We have been shut down due to the storm so I had 2 extra days to sew this week. I finished a UFO and started another!! I tend to get overwhelmed, so I will put a package at a time and work on that piece, then pull another. Working in my mind on a way to organize so things don't get messed up. Will be traveling the end of the month/first of next so am going to work hard til then so I don't fall behind! My sister from Portland was supposed to meet me in Phoenix, but she has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and until we know her course of treatment we are putting plans on hold! Prayers are needed for her. Thank you.

Buslady- my thoughts and prayers are with you and your sister. Huge hugs for you both. I've been through this with my sister so I know where you are now. Spend all the time you can with her and both of you keep a positive attitude. That is SO important for her right now.

LJ this one is for you.

This cold weather and icy conditions make for great sewing room days. I finished block two today for LJ Dugas. I was excited to get this fabric. I have 1 yard pieces from this entire collection. I was one of the first investments I made in fabric when I retired and bought my new machine. There is a little voice calling me to make a second block with some interchanging some of the other patterns in the collection with your fabric and white accents.
