got this in an email. I have never shopped this store but I think someone was asking about sizzix die sales on another thread somewhere.

The email said it was an 'end of year' sale. Even though i got the email on the 2nd which is the beginning of the year...
Maybe for inventory purposes they have until a certain day of the first of the year before they start to count/pay taxes on stuff.
