Junebillie and Lawsonmugs, I too love chickens. This is a little wall hanging I made for my sewing room. She has a pearl necklace and crystal drop earrings. I also made the quilt for charity.

I have a old hen that her comb is folded over from age. When she runs she reminds me of a cartoon of some old biddy running holding on to her bloomers to get to the fence to gossip. Her comb reminds me of a hat.

thanks everyone. The original pattern was from an old Fons and Porter, just showed one plain little chicken, I made them a bit fancier on my quilt. Way too much work to have given it away, but had no grandchildren to give it to so it went to the charity I sew for.

Mary, I can just picture that ol' hen running around!

love the brush and the chicken. the brush looks real. that busy body chicken is adorable. I like the idea of doing a chicken pc swap. I must start one now, in case we do one. I can see a sporty one, an old biddy, a spring chicken, and the list goes on. what a great idea. I did a chicken quilt in the swap, it was so much fun. keep those pics coming, great ideas, and great eye candy too.
