I use my sewing room for all things crafty. I make these little sweet storage jars out of ragu sauce jars. I have a few more to make this weekend.

I have been so stressed out because my sewing room had stuff all over the place. I decided that I should choose 2 or 3 projects and just put the others away for now to lower my stress level. First grandbaby is coming March 29 with first baby shower Feb. 15 and I just started the autograph quilt I saw on APQ website. It is amazing how much I was able to clean up in just 1 hour! So baby quilt, then block of the month then lottery block then get out something else to do!

Brought my Granddaughter home to stay, and she is having to share my space, but, really, she brightens it right up

I hung this on a wall in my sewing room. (It helps that I'm a picture frame shop owner)!

I get anxious in a space that is too neat - I feel all out of place and like I'm going to get into trouble if I move anything and I can NOT be creative in that mindset. So I have piles of fabric and stacks of batting scraps and jumbles of rulers and things (patterns, sketches, inspirational pictures, fabric scraps, paint chips...) taped to the walls and cupboard doors...and I love it in there. It's my messy little den of creativity! AND I know EXACTLY where everything is - if I cleaned I'd be hopelessly lost!
Love your honesty. I seem to attract clutter myself and can live with it up to a point and then it gets too overwhelming. My next sewing room is going to have a lot of tall cupboards to put things away in. I figure I can open up as many doors as I want to see the color and stuff while I work and then close it up so it still looks presentable. That's the plan anyway. I have to wait about 2 years for the move to see if that plan will work.

I dont have a very big sewing room. Anyhow, I have 4 window's. 1 on each end of my sewing area, and 2 window's in front of my sewing machine, and cutting mat. I have 6 plant's in macrame plant hangers I made. Out of my guild, I've had 5 lady friends come up just to see my plants/hangers, and, maybe my cubby hole sewing room.
