    I would't have any trouble taking a machine apart. It's knowing what to do with all those extra parts when I put it back together I'm glad some people out there know where all the parts go. I'll take my machine to them. Thumbs up to all those brave enough to learn!

    This is the first I have heard of a race wick. Are these used in other machines besides the 66?

    Well, the 99 too since it is just a 3/4 size version of the 66!

    Yes, I believe the Singer 99 are also on this list.

    When I got my 66, and saw the wick, I thought it was a giant piece of lint.. I tried my darndest to get it out, and it wouldn't budge. I'm glad it was more stubborn than I am..

    I have everything apart but I cannot figure out how to remove the Bobbin assembly ejector unit, because the pin is not visibly obvious to me. Thank you
