"Do you have your shoes on the wrong feet"...of course I said NO, what do you think I am stupid??.
I have to say first the new blocks showing up are beautiful, defergie I bet you are going to really enjoy your space. I have the whole basement and I really love it, just wish it had bigger windows. I am still laughing so hard Joan, I can truly see that picture in my mind as if it happened to me exactly the same way. Never done that, I don't think or nobody has told me but it's not like it couldn't in a heart beat! You absolutely made my day, always good to giggle...

I was ready to take some scuffs back to the shoe store. I had two right shoes! So i put them in a store bag and continued straightening. Said to my dh, dang thought i put these dumb shoes away! Look. They're both the same foot! I'm going to get my money back! Oops! Who buys two pair of the same shoes? Who?? Lol

LOL thank you ladies...now I don't feel quite so bad knowing others make mistakes too! Mine were earth shoes and they didn't hurt at all but they did "look" a little off when I was sitting in the dentist chair ...Im sure the aides will still be shaking their heads and snickering today! I have 2 pairs of a loafer...they were so comfortable that I decided I wanted to buy a 2nd pair but this is the lst time on the wrong feet!

I almost did. Saw a pair I really liked, talked myself out of them, when I got home I had a shoe box by the door to take back, it was the shoes I had looked at. Ok, so I buy them, decide to take them back, then almost buy them agian. I guess they are meant to be. So I kept the pair I had. Now that I have typed this, I feel like a fool!!! LOL

I have been working fast and furious on my blocks. I have like 4 and a half left in this group. Whew!! I am going to try and get the pictures taken tonight of the ones done, and finish that half one I have started!! This has been fun, but I sure do worry that you will not like my color choices!! Nothing ever turns out just like I planned it. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much!! I have done a LOT of reverse sewing on these ones. Hope to have pictures tomorrow!! I am just loving the blocks so far!! I have got to try paperpiecing. I keep thinking I will do it with the next block, then I don't. I think I'm SKEERD!! I like foundation piecing for crazy patches, just not sure about this whole paper thing. LOL I do love those sunburst type blocks, and I think the onluy way I would even attempt them is with paper piecing. By the way, I hope it won't be a problem but I cannot tell you the names of ANY of my blocks. I have not used any real patterns. I go by pictures or sometimes a piece of this block and part of another. A couple were blocks from a quilt in a book and may be exact, but more likely adapted. At any rate, if the block is ugly I can't blame anyone else. HeeeeHeeeee! Keep the pictures coming, it is great to see them.

I bought a pair of shoes and my SIL fell in love with them. Went back to the same store and bought her a pair in a different size. She came to visit and since we must take off shoes here, she left hers in our entrance. I actually put my shoes away because I know her very well and she still managed to find my shoes, in the wrong size, and wear them home! She probably wondered why they felt so different from before, but when I called her she still couldn't believe she had my shoes!

Love both these block designs and the choice of fabric in the first one! Really nice!
