just finished making my valentines for my cousins. they each took about 3 hrs by hand, they came out nice. now on to pincushions. I'm kind of trying to do a bit of theme, I want to make something valentiney. I just love those fabrics. i'm also in the mood to do crazy quilting. I love doing all the stitches and beading.

I too was hoping for more pictures. maybe on Tuesday we'll get a bunch of pictures. i'm ready to mail now. I can't wait, I can't wait. I can't wait. it's like having christmas in the middle of the year!!!

I was on the 'sew grateful sunday' blog and saw they were having a get skinny pin cushion swap. I thought that might be a good theme for us one day. sew a skinny pincushion. I've done a few. I did one out of stripes and put a very sheer bridal illusion over it. it looked like a Christmas candy. cute idea huh???? Just thought i'd throw that out at you. you may get one in a swap. you never know.

some ideas for February..... abe lincolns hat, a hatchet, cherry tree, cherry, penny, ground hog, and of course valentines. I'm doing a jointed teddy bear so far, don't know if i'll do another.
I know some of you are looking for ideas, oh and a letter for val day too.
and of course candy too. i'll take the real stuff, thank you!!!!

I am busy right now finishing up a red and white striped valentine pillow for my fur baby Bonnie. I made her a pillow pad cover yesterday, and put in her crate, so wanted to do this today. I am still looking at little Yorkie clothes patterns for her. lol....

you can really get carried away with those cloths.
about 15 yrs ago, I wanted to make puppy cloths, everyone said I was nuts.
I wish I did it then. please show us your creations.

Well, I have to throw something out to the group. I will host the February swap but will not be able to continue after this. Maybe one of you gals will be able to take over. It only takes a few hours to assign partners and get the PMs done, it really isn't hard. I have notified Patrice that I will not be continuing. I know everyone here loves this swap, and I do too, but it will not be possible for me to do this after February. Thanks for understanding.

I'm fine, Mary, thanks, it's a family thing. I haven't participated in the swap for a few months and would like to continue at a later date if a host can be found.
