Okay ladies, it's 10:30 pm in California on January 31st. According to the photos posted, it looks like we had 43 finishes in January. Great job everyone!! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone does in February.

I joined this forum today, because I need some encouragement to finish some UFO's before I start a new project.
This seems exactly the challenge I need!
So my goal for February is to work only on my 'Bits-and-Pieces' sampler.
I'm handquilting this (I do all my piecing and quilting by hand), and I like the quilting rather dense (1' apart on average) and only have a few hours a week to quilt, so I don't promise I'm finishing this month (although I only have to quilt the border and do the binding).

Chugga-chugga-choooooochoooooooo..... and the train rounds the curve into another month! We had to add another car because so many have jumped aboard! Isn't that awesome?
And the finishes!! Oh my goodness, you guys rock!!
Looking forward to having as much success in February as we had in January.

I have finished three quilts two lap size and one double and am so happy. They are for my sisters and nephew. What a great feeling to actually finish one or three. So my stack of tops is now down to four one just needs the binding and two are pinned and sandwiched and the last one I have decided to add applique to that one will take a while I think I've never done applique

quiltaddiction, I love your windmills, especially the pattern you used in the first two. What a great way to use a focal fabric!

Oh QuiltAddiction.... awesome quilts. I have to say my favorite is the blue and yellow one..... UofM colors. Here in Michigan.... there are a lot of blue and yellow fans. The others are wonderful, too. Isn't it a great feeling to finish a quilt.... or 3 in your case. Good job!!! Can't wait to see the others you finish.
