Elizabrat, THAT is funny. I guess I really must start putting myself together better when I sew!

Elisabrat: I'm just surprised they didn't mention manicures and pedicures, how could one sew with chipped polish? I hope you don't mind my showing the attached quilt back, it is clearly inspired by this thread.

    I meant this for sustraley.

I love both examples for the next round. Going to have to put skills to test, but this is what this whole quilt-along is for. Thanks to both Elisabrat and Jabba who have been working hard.

Okay ladies done with my border. Had to add purple spacer in to make center 24-1/2", and I chose the Herringbone border. I like it so far now have to wait till March first for next border.

Badder: You said that the purple was for a spacer but I think it is the perfect highlight to your center. Love how your latest round turned out! SewNsew: That is the real thing. This thread has me so enthusiastic about border quilts that when I decided to cut down my Celtic Solstice to a Queen I knew just what I wanted to do with the left over blocks. If we had been further along in this quilt along the borders may have been different but I had a lot of fun putting it together. Used stash only for the front and back.

Emma love your quilt! that was a great round Jaba's right? you put on the end? love it!
Pbadder love your quilt top no one would ever know you added that round/spacer to make it fit. Looks 'planned" which is PERFECT!

ok ladies/gentlemen lets see some rounds/fabric pics! what colors are you pulling for YOUR next round? I am already planning the next one! in fact just found the last one and that is going to be a super great ending I think to this quilt top! now just need a few middle rounds lol first. I am btw doing a quilt top in rainbow colors not in a rainbow lay out obviously. I just wanted to go light to darkest so the center is yellow not red I am whacked but only so much. most of the time sigh..
