Very pretty blocks, I love mine Gaijin. I have a couple left to do, can't find just the right block to make for the fabric.

I know! Sometimes I have to think and look at patterns for a whole day just to come up with the right block! I am glad you like your block!

Ok, three more! Finally got a day off. Got some sewing done and watched the Superbowl.

Default Reminder: "in my hands" deadline is march 3, 2014

Good morning F&F Group!

Just a gentle reminder that you all should be working on your blocks with an eye to the "in my hands" deadline of March 3, 2014. I've already gotten a number of packages and although I haven't opened them yet, I've sent emails to those from whom I've rec'd blocks. I'll probably begin sorting through them tomorrow and checking postage and the block count.

In the meantime, to everyone still working on their blocks, take your time, please enjoy the process and let me know when you ship so I can keep an eye out for the packages. (It's always better to let me know they're coming as I've actually not been notified by some and have had packages sit in the mailbox for over 24 hours as I was stuck away from the house and didn't expect any or I'd have made arrangements for pick-up.)

One last thing. I've been looking through your pix for the last hour and I'm so pleased with all of the blocks. They really are lovely! You've all done yourselves proud. Thank you for making this a happy experience for me.

Fondly, Janice McC

There are some very pretty blocks going home! Wow...I wish there was one "album" where we could all post pictures of blocks done instead of having to scroll thru each page. I think there are prettier blocks this swap than ever before! Cant wait till March!!

Hmmmm....interesting idea. Maybe "someone" will try that! LOL (Give me a little time to work on that - I've actually got some free time today and I don't quite know what to do with it!) Janice

Well, here's what I've been doing with some of that free time I mentioned in the earlier post...

sorting, sorting, sorting the F&F blocks rec'd so far. Not a fancy system but it works like a charm and is FAST! And yes, all of those folders have completed blocks in them. I peeked at some and are they pretty!

OK, OK, I'm not in this swap BUT have been following......The suggestion of an album of all squares is fantastic....but why not show a picture of the fabric that was sent and then the resulting blocks? I guess this would actuakky be an album for each participant.
