Exclamation Baby Quilt Suggestions

I am in need of fabric suggestions for a baby quilt. My niece is having her second baby and would like a quilt for the new baby. They aren't going to find out the sex of the baby, so it has to be gender neutral. Anyhow, we were looking a bit at charm squares and she likes beiges and to my surprise large flower prints. The flower prints remind me of wallpaper of the past. I am a fairly new quilter and just need a charm pack for the pattern I have chosen for the quilt. Does anyone know how to search for this type of fabric online? Most of the packs I have seen have so much pink in them. I will take all the advise anyone wants to throw at me. TIA

It depends on your comfort level as a quilter. There are many posts about Warm Wishes which can make a cute and easy quilt with a focus fabric and three coordinating tonals (sewn in a strip). It is a free pattern that can be found on Quiltmaker website. Many quilts from this pattern can be found if you do an advance search. Good Luck !!

Try googling just what you are looking for. I just googled beige floral quilting charm packs and quite a few choices came up. Might work for you...

Hi Starr,
You want to make a general neutral baby quilt with neutral large floral fabric? If you look on Missouri Star Quilt Co web site, they have tons of charm packs with photos of what's in the pack. This will help you choose. Another option would be to use fat quarters of your choice and cut your own charms.
Hope this helps.

Green Fairy Quilts and The Fat Quarter Shop have charm packs. Guess How Much I Love You is a cute collection by Clothworks that is for either gender. I just ordered some from Rossville Quilts and it was on sale. Over the Rainbow has it also. Hope you find what you are looking for!
