I've been cutting like a mad woman today! Not sure how many rectangles--but a bunch. I plan to make it quilt size. Hope to cut and sew sashing on tomorrow.

I have narrowed my A/B fabric down to two selections. Now that I have clue 2 things may be easier. However, I see me being late at the next stop as I am heading to GA tomorrow and will be out of town for a few days. Guess I know what I will be doing next weekend.....catching up. Toot, toot, love the train. (On a side note a good friend of mine just got hired on at Canadian Pacific...he will be driving real trains, maybe we can have him as the engineer on the next ride )

Well I have done the 4 1/2"squares chain stitching makes it so much faster I have gone with white on white for the sashing and scraps in shades of blue from vintage scraps I had so I think it will still look scrappy even though there are repeats. I haven't decided on the B fabric yet.

Angelia: I'm with you on a probable bed size. Pulled fabric pieces smaller than a yard and came of with a huge stack, easy to do a bed size.

Dotty, your colors are great, that lime will sizzle and pop against the darks nd brights. Don't pick your B yet, get the next step done and I think you will see where we are going.

Patti, yes, those will work fine.

Quilt addiction, I think yours will be beautiful.

This sounds as if it is all coming together to be a great ride! Can't wait to see some squares.

I have been wandering through my stash trying to pick out the A and B fabrics. After seeing the Clue 2 I decided I will cut the scraps blocks first then commence wandering the stash for A&B. I really want to use up a lot of Aunt Peggy's old scraps which are mostly yellows, blues, greens and pastels. It is so difficult to work with colors that don't "call" to me.
