Love the stitching you're doing. I have tons of size 30 crochet thread that I've collected at yardsales over the years. I just noticed this site has some Sashiko tutorials if anyone is interested http://www.pinterest.com/craftyasiangirl/embroidery/ I didn't realize the pattern could be gotten preprinted or I would have tried it.

great idea... love this... and love to had sew.... I know I am crazy, but sewing on the binding is one of my favorite parts of the quilting process....
