I went to see this morning and bought several yards of the blue paisley print they had. It is 8.99 a yard but had a 50% off coupon. It feels nice and I think looks nice. Not a big selection though.

Please use the following care instructions for this fabric:
Machine wash gentle, cold water, non chlorine bleach
Tumble dry low, remove promptly, warm iron

LADIES! "No Iron" does not mean the same thing as "do not iron"! No Iron just means the fabric will not require ironing to look good-- like the old 'permanent pressed' stuff. It's saying you don't have to iron this fabric, but you certainly CAN if you want to!!!

And YES! I will be buying this fabric and any other that are manufactured in the US. In fact I am working with a 'made in USA' fabric right now that I found at a Walmart! Walmart is going to start selling USA manufactured goods again too... I just might have to stop totally loathing them.

Thanks for checking that out Lyncat. All I know it is beautiful fabric and was going to be so disappointed if there was going to be a problem because I had already ordered it when the post came up on here about it.

THANKS TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS who made the exhaustive trip to Joann's to shop and to those that even IRONED the fabric....you went above and beyond!!!

I felt some 'new arrival' fabrics at Walmart a few days ago and it felt pretty nice! I was totally surprised at the feel and the price.

If it is made in the USA, where is the mill located? I was told by a reputable salesman of fabric for years that there are no textile mills in the USA left. Anybody know?

Made in USA, or made in "America"??? Bet it's the latter. Most of the mills here in the U.S. shut down several years ago, when they off-shored. Don't forget... America includes Canada, Mexico, Central America, and South America, and if you stretch it a little, Puerto Rico, Guam, and several other territories and protectorates, as well. And that, in a nutshell, is what advertising is all about - deceiving us.

Thanks a MILLION for this info. I always try to find as much as I can that is made in America. If it ways Made in China I put it right back on the shelf no matter what.
